G'day we are James & Ellie a mad keen young fishing couple who reside in FNQ Australia. This is our first product for market, which is our 3D printed jig rod plug for your precious jig rods.

We have designed and made the rod plug basic and pro ourselves and they have been tested by us and numerous other fishos on the Gold Coast since December last year. We have gone through many iterations in that time and have landed on two models we feel will eliminate the hassle of jig rods not fitting your rod holders.

The two models we have are the basic model and pro model. We have uploaded the basic model for free allowing you to download it and 3d print yourself at,

 https://www.printables.com/model/942849-rod-

You can choose to download and print it yourself or have a 3d print service print it for you local to your area. This model is a fixed outside diameter and inside diameter you will need to scale this to fit your requirements.

Our second model is the modular pro model which is for sale here and it by design fits most rods and most rod holders on the market.

The pro model offers greater flexibility for different models of jig rods and their range of outside diameters as well as rod holder internal diameters. The pro model unlike the basic model comes with the main body 3d printed in tpu and the lanyard retention body which is 3d printed out of asa for the ultimate uv stability.

All you need is to attach the two and feed it through your chosen rod holder as seen in the video. We opted to crimp ours using 100lb mono this isn't necessary and any fishing line with a simple knot will do.

From there it stays safely attached to the rod holder until you choose to remove it and give it a wash. When in use you simply attach it to the rod and push down firmly to seat it and the rod in your rod holder as seen in the video.

Maintenance wise give it a quick wash in fresh water when done but it isn't necessary as there is zero real day to day maintenance and should last a lifetime with no components to rust.

Stick with us as we get the rest of the site organised and our first product ready to sell and ship.

Cheers James and Ellie.
